The industrials had another strong showing bolstered by the better than expected pending home sales as well as the same store sales numbers. There was some bullish sentiment in the papers yesterday led by TIN which was sparked by some oct.19 call buying. Everyone is waiting for today’s jobs data at 8:30. Look for continued strength in wheat today off Russia announcing an extension of its grain export ban. Look for strength in some of the farm machinery stocks as well as some of the AG stocks. Canada’s Goldcorp agrees to buy Andean Resources for C3.6B in cash and stock. Conference call is at 10:30. Watch FCX as copper hits its highest level in four months off low stock pile levels. In Shanghai copper stockpiles dropped to their lowest level in a month.
