1.       Stocks snapped a two-day decline, U.S. index futures rose and copper rallied after China’s manufacturing, India’s manufacturing, and Australia’s economy grew faster than economists estimated. 

2.       At 10 a.m., ISM Manafacturing probably dropped to 52.7 in August from 55.5 in July, according to economists.  At 8:15 a.m., ADP Employer Services may report 15k jobs were added by U.S. companies last month.

3.       Burger King(BKC) has been in talks with private-equity firms in recent weeks about a possible sale according to the WSJ.

4.       AAPL fall music event today at 1pm EST…expected/rumored products include refresh of entire iPod line and a revamped Apple TV with $0.99 show rentals and NFLX streaming capabilities.

5.       Media stocks rose overseas after Vivendi(VIV.FP) said its full-year earnings outlook has improved.

6.       CIT Group(CIT) initiated overweight with a $46 target @ Barclays.
