Tech names bounced yesterday in what appeared to be a technical move. (Ex. CSCO testing a $21 support level before closing at $21.21, up .4%. Also recall that the RSI on close was 36.22).

In an article published yesterday Business Insider discusses RIMM’s position among smartphone players, arguing that the company could become the new Palm. RIMM, however finished up 1.5% as BlackBerry service issue in India could be resolved as early as this week. PAY +8.5% made a new 52-week high of 25.03 yesterday after reporting solid quarterly results.

Prices for capacitive screens for smartphones are expected to remain high due to tight supply, according to DigiTimes. This should benefit SYNA, CY & ATML.
