European markets are lower this morning  led by energy and banking. The alternative energy sector is the lead decliner on the Eurofirst 300 after Vestas Wind reported poor earnings and lowered guidance.  There's been some profit taking among yesterday's best performers. Volumes are light and news flow is thin.
