Yesterday, there was a little bit of profit taking ahead of today’s ADP report and ahead of Friday’s report on jobs. Monday’s rally wasn’t on an expectation that the US economy was suddenly doing better than anticipated. If anything, it was that the Euro-zone wasn’t as bad as feared and that the weaker Dollar might give the big US exporters an opportunity to get back in the game.
