Difficulty With Earnings Forecasts

Weekly Jobless Claims finally got off of the roller coaster of seasonal adjustments and seemed to be settling in at just above 450,000. In general, 450,000 is the level where economists equate claims to indicate zero job growth. We’ve seen the coming on and laying off of census workers skew that data. Once extracting out those positions, it does appear that we are moving past the layoff stage, but are not seeing much in the job growth stage. T... full story >>
